Wordpress / PHP developer, intermediate

We are running a couple of WordPress projects that require consistent attention and modifications. And there is a new one every now and then.

That's why we are in search for a new colleague, ideally a PHP based all-arounder, who doesn't mind frontend work and feels at home with WordPress, with anything over 2 years of experience.

What we’re looking for:

  • Full time, long term engagement
  • Good knowledge of HTML 5, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Experience building responsive websites and web applications
  • Working knowledge of the WordPress CMS platform
  • Ability to build custom WordPress themes and plugins from scratch
  • Understanding of PHP back-end development
  • Comfortable utilization of debugging tools 
  • Experience using code version control and collaboration tools
  • Good communication (in the English language), teamwork skills
  • An eye for UI details

Bonus points for:

  • Working knowledge of the Advanced Custom Fields plugin as well as WooCommerce
  • Self-organization skills and the ability to keep track of multiple projects
  • Ability to convert project goals and problems into optimal solutions 
  • Ability to supervise and review work of younger colleagues
  • Intuitive feel for the UX and UI details
  • Ability to professionally communicate and coordinate with client reps
  • Knowledge of Linux
  • Some experience with AWS
  • Knowledge of additional programming languages and/or frameworks, such as Node.js, React.js, Symphony, Typescript, Ruby… - or the interest to learn
